Jane has a BA in English and a Trinity CertTESOL qualification. She has been teaching English since 2013, following a successful corporate career as an Account Director.
Before founding Kingscote English over 10 years ago, Jane taught at several large London language schools. She realised there was a need for high-quality English lessons for adults who did not have the time or budget to attend private language schools or adult education colleges.
She specialises in General English, Business English, IELTS, OET and Cambridge English exams, and has extensive experience preparing students for a wide range of English language qualifications.
Jane has also created IELTS teaching materials and, during the Covid years, worked with CJJL Associates and IDP Europe to develop resources for IELTS teachers and students.
More recently, she worked as an OET Supervisor and Speaking Interlocutor.
She is supported by a small team of fully qualified, experienced English language teachers, all of whom are native English speakers. They share her commitment to providing friendly, personalised lessons and creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel confident to learn and improve.

Hi, I’m Vicky, born in London, grew up in Odessa, Ukraine. I’ve been teaching English for a number of years, working with all different kinds of students: children, teenagers, adults, from A1 to C1, in both Ukraine and the UK. I returned to my hometown in 2025 to complete my CELTA course and have been teaching here since then.
Seeing my students progressing and gaining confidence is truly fulfilling for me. I genuinely love meeting new people and discovering wonderful things in life. When I’m free, I love seeing my friends and family, listening to indie rock, watching different films, especially French and Soviet movies. I also love playing the piano and the guitar.

Combining my love of language and travel with my professional communications skills, I chose to complete my CELTA (Cambridge) English language teacher training in 2017 and it’s proved to have been a wonderful experience so far.
Working with students from all around the globe, I have tons of experience teaching online or in person, and have helped many people achieve their goals.
My students have ranged in age from 8 years old to over 70 years old- so you are never too young or too old to learn English!
